Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .

As it’s the first Sunday of september, I’ll double up with my reading warp-up.

In my private life

Happy Sunday!

My work week was uneventful and I hope a little bit of pressure will kick in soon. Not too much mind you but…just enough to have me feeling productive.

This Saturday, I have been a busy bee again!

I gave my third and last art classes painting edges at the second hand shop. I had a great time with a mix of experienced and newbies in art among the participants.

They were all happy and you can see their creations below!

Then in the evening, I had my live interview in French (for a change) with Dana Blue, the Canadian author of Lettres à une Idol. We had a great time!

I am leaving the link to the live here below if you are curious. The start was a little bit rocky as she couldn’t connect so you can fast forward a little LOL

August wrap-up

I had a great reading month in august with 14 books read! And I have four winners this month, books that rocked my world. They also are all audiobooks ironically.

And I have an honorable mention as well for a debut author and new release.

You can read the post if you click on the graphic.

The first three winners are in fact part of a trilogy that turned into a family saga. From India to Paris, from 1950ies to the 1970ies she swept me off my feet and became a new favorite writer.

My honorable mention goes to Ink Blood Sister Scribe because it’s a first work, a new release and pretty unique!

And this month winner is a HUGE CRUSH and true ugly cry! When Elephants Fly by Nan Fischer is an older book, it never got a lot of hype but it deserves a lot more attention!

Thanks for reading!

Sophie
