Hi dear friends!

It’s been a long time since my last WWW Wednesday. For those who have never heard of it, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme

hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer the three following questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Let’s get started!

What did I recently finished?

One paperback that was much awaited but left me puzzled: Rayne and Delilah’s Midnite Matinee by Jeff Zentner. 4 weirdo stars

Another paperback The Strongest Steel by Scarlett Cole because of RARE Paris (see planned hiatus below) : it was a solid four stars with a dreamy and steady hero, a broken yet very courageous heroine.

A hardcover Lady Smoke by Laura Sebastian that I buddy read with Angelica for our March read of the Ultimate Reading Challenge (review to come once Angy will have finished it 😉  )

An audiobook: Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys: incredible!!! 6 stars

What am I currently reading?

I am reading an ARC of Eleanor and Grey by Brittainy C Cherry (FLOVE IT!)

Another ARC: Kingsbane by Claire Legrand (how is it possible that my alliances shifted and that now Elyana is more interesting to me than Rielle?????????)

I am buddy listening to Where the Forest Meets the Stars by Glendy Vanderah and narrated by Lauren Ezzo (I love it! It’s like a philosophical tale so far)

What will I read next?

Defy me by Tahereh Mafi! I can’t wait as it just landed in my mailbox!

Probably Method by Kate Stewart if I am lucky enough to get the ARC

Say You Still Love Me by KA Tucker

Mid week news…

I want to explain why I haven’t blog hopped and liked and commented and replied as much as usual.

The reason is simple: first this weekend I have invited my mom for her birthday. I baked, chatted and we prepared our travel to Paris (again see below).

Then work has been very intense …again! It seems like a pattern by now but I really have no minutes in my workday even to look at my feed, like and comment! When I get back home late I am usually so exhausted that I barely can post some comments here and there….

I am so so sorry! Hopefully I will have some down time to catch up after Paris as we’ll have the Easter holiday!  I will work every day but it should be less “packed”.

Planned hiatus

We come to the planned hiatus. As you may know (or not) I will leave for Paris on Friday morning and come back Sunday evening! You won’t see posts on the blog in this period of time.

But expect the tales of my “adventure” as author assistant of Scarlett Cole the week after! Because I get to attend RARE Paris, an event organized for romance lovers. 80 authors (most from US, UK, AU etc.) will sign their books for lots of fans!

This will be my second RARE and my third book signing BUT my first as a volunteer and certainly as an author’s assistant!

I just hope I won’t mess up too bad!

In the meantime, I wih you lots of fantastic readings! There is still one discussion post planned for tomorrow so come say hi!

Thanks for reading

Sophie
