Currently Reading-

Secret by Aleatha Romig!

I am nearly finished and it is really good! This is an ARC of the firts book in the trilogy so review coming closer to the release date!

Synopsis

The twisted and intriguing storytelling that you loved in Consequences and Infidelity is coming back at you with an all-new alpha anti-hero in the dark romance series Web of Sin, by New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig.

I’m Sterling Sparrow. You’ve no doubt heard my name or read it on the top of tall buildings. There’s more to my business—my realm—than what is seen aboveground.

Within the underbelly of one of America’s largest cities lives a world where a man’s word is either his most valuable tool or his most respected weapon. When my father ruled that world and that city, he promised me someone who would one day make my reign complete.

Since that day, long ago, Araneae McCrie has been mine.

She just didn’t know.

My father is now gone.

The city and the underbelly are now mine.

The time has come for me to collect who was promised to me, to shred her life of secrets and make her who she’s always been—mine.

Have you been Aleatha’d?

*Secrets is book one of the Web of Sin trilogy.

Picture Perfect Cowboy by Tiffany Reisz (expect a review in the coming days). I would say it’s a kinky fairy tale 😀

Synopsis

Jason “Still” Waters’ life looks perfect from the outside—money, fame, and the words “World Champion Bull-Rider” after his name. But Jason has a secret, one he never planned on telling anybody…until he meets Simone. She’s the kinky girl of his dreams…and his conservative family’s worst nightmare.

Picture Perfect Cowboy” is a standalone erotic romance from Tiffany Reisz, set in her bestselling Original Sinners series. An abridged version was previously published in “Exposed: A Romance Anthology” as the novella “The Watermark.

Long Live the Beautiful Hearts by Emma Scott my much awaited conclusion to this duet! Click on the graphic to read my 6 stars reveiw.

What I will read next

Well I got many fantastic books in my mail yesterday! So my choice will be between

Now short movie review …for a change because… I fell HARD for “A Star is Born” with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga !!!

First of all I am IMPRESSED by their performances.

Lady Gaga does not have to blush compared with other actresses! I already loved her songs and knew she had a hell of a voice but here she WAS Ally.

I already loved Bradley’s acting talent but here I am in awe because he is singing and playing the guitar. And these guitar riffs impressed the hell out of me!
No lip syncing for Bradley he went all in;

-Bradley Cooper also inhabited his character. Jackson Maine a country music star whose fame is fading, alcoholic and addict. Not only did he played the falling star but you could see all his struggle, doubts and ache in his eyes.

-Last but not least Bradley is directing the movie and he did a stellar job.

So I bow low faced with such talent!

If you haven’t seen it yet, just go for it!

Especially if you love country music like I do 😉

Here are my two favorite songs from the movie but truly they are all incredible! I downloaded the album from Deezer and the album is now. Fun fact: the album is set for his second week as N°1 on the USA Billboard!

Always Remember Us this Way

And this one gives me thrills as this is from a very powerful scene in the movie where Ally (Gaga) joins Bradley Cooper on the scene in front of thousands of fans for the first time. A star is born at that moment.

Shallow

What are you reading now? And have you seen of plan to A Star Is Born?

Thanks for reading!

Sophie
