WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam@Taking on a World of Words.
To play, answer the three questions listed below.
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
First let me tell you that like Kathy @bookmunches I’ve been terrible at reading my TBR for YALC London!
I had it all planned and ordered the books to read. Only now I am not in the mood for them…Shame? Maybe but I know it’s better to wait for my mood to catch up with the genre than try to “force read” them or I’ll end up giving a lower rating.
I guess I will just have to be honest with the authors and tell them that I want to read the books when I’ll be ready?
Now on to the meme!
What are you currently reading?
Nothing! I am “in between” and undecided yet!
What did you recently finish reading?
Three fantastic books this week! One of them I still have to review.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Good question! I will probably choose among these …or something else entirely!
And you what are you reading?
Happy Wednesday!
Good luck with your genre slump. I agree. I’d much rather wait if I’m not in the book for a book/author/genre. I very likely would do the same and give it an unintentional lower review.
That’s what I’ve done and read two fantastic books since but now …no idea LOL
Currently reading a dysopian book that I received through the author (it’s called Gold Shadow and it’s very good!), hoping I’ll be able to catch up on Lara Jean trilogy and read the third and last book in the series, before the movie comes out!
Wow Cri this is so good if you love the dystopian as it can be a hit or miss with me 😉
Oh man, I’ve been “reading” Hero at the Fall for about 3 months. It is actually back at the library right now but I’ve been meaning to re- check it out again :D. I REALLY want to finish the series because I love all the characters but I just can’t get into it! Everyone I’ve spoken to has said that the ending is wonderful so I hoping to finish it soon.
I haven’t read either of your “up next” books. Good luck deciding 😉
Hahaha Becky 3 months???? I would have forgotten everything by now *attention span of a gnat LOL*
I’ll look forward to hear your thoughts on the Accidentals! I haven’t read it yet but i’m hoping to pick it up soon.
It was easy to read, flowing effortlessly but bittersweet Raven!
It’s a shame you are not in the mood for your YALC reads, but you’re right, it’s always better to wait to be in the right mood than force yourself and end up rating the books lower or not enjoying them at all 🙂
Happy reading!! 😀
Thank you so much Marie! <3
Beautiful books
Thank you Priyasha!
Reading Grahame Claire’s It’s Not Over and Brooke Blaine’s A Little Bit Like Desire <3
Hope you loved The Accidentals!
Enjoy Frederik Bachman!
Yes I did love The Accidentals! I wanted to read Grahame Claire but had no more room. I hope you’ll enjoy Astrid!
Currently reading The Cruel Prince and Nevernight. Loved the Fredrik Backman books. They have heart and wonderful characters. ♥️
Enjoy The Cruel Prince Dani!!!
I’m reading a MG fantasy book called Grump! Haven’t read any of Frederick Backman’s books but I/ve heard great things. Happy reading, love
Grump? Hahaha you intrigue me now Carlolina!
I am excited about The Accidentals. Bowen is one of my favorite romance authors, and I am pumped about her writing a YA book (since I have a YA blog). Glad you liked it.
Oh yes Sam! I’ll post the review later today 😉
I wondered if it was just me. Glad to know I’m not the only mood reader. I’ll order a book. excited when it arrives, then let it sit there. When the time is right, I’ll better enjoy it.
You too???? Oh I feel better already Laura!
Us Against you <3 <3 <3
Haha yes Hamad!
