Happy Sunday,
It’s been two weeks since I posted and a lot happened.
First my mom is now for some weeks at a retirement home after her stay at the hospital. She is still confused sometimes and driving me a little bit crazy but she is improving so yay!
I attended YALC London and I went two whole days ahead to visit London!
We visited many bookshops (Waterstones Piccadilly and Trafalgar, Foyles, Hatchard and Forbidden Planet), we walked 70 km in four days, we went to see the musical Wicked (amazing) , we enjoyed the Christmas decorations in London (and a whole field of illuminated roses) and we met many authors at YALC!
My two big crushes were Jennifer Niven, attending YALC and so lovely! She took the time to talk with every fan. He queue was so slow but it was quality time.
My second crush was Jay Kristoff. He was signing at Forbidden Planet and I got a fist bump because I came all the way from Belgium to see him! He is a big softie, so kind with his readers and his wife is as lovely as he is!
One funny anecdote that happened in London is that I was recognized by Waterstone’s staff! One of them follows me on Instagram and came to chat with me. That was so surprising but also very lovely. I am far from being an influencer so that’s really fate or random!

The day I came back from London we went to get our puppies!!!!!!
They are the reason why, even if I am back from my travel for six days now I have been MIA on the blog and WordPress!
It’s like raising twin babies! I am currently sleeping on the sofa to be ready to take them out twice at night. Between training them to go potty outside, feeding them, playing with them and running errands for my mom I barely have time for anything else!
But they are a bundle of joy and energy!
I still have one week off work and I will try to comment back again but I already know it will be a challenge!
Fear not I am not stopping blogging as I renewed my hosting plan for two years but I probably will be scarce till January with the two little bundle of energy at home!
I will add two more reels.
The first is about the art class I taught before leaving for London. All participants did an amazing job.
And the second is about a collaborative post with book recommendations!

You are Instafamous – very cool. Your babies are too cute! I hope all goes well as they adjust to their new home and that mom continues to adjust to her new home too. I saw Wicked way back when (I think the kid was single digits and she’s 30 now). Great play!

I’m glad your mom is doing a bit better now that she’s at a retirement home. She can get all the care there. And I’m happy you enjoyed London. I’ve never been and wanna go so badly one day!

Sounds like it was a great time at YALC! I do love when someone recognizes me in something like that, although it’s only been an author or two that I constantly interact with online, lol. The puppies are adorable, and yeah, lots of work! Glad your mom seems to be doing okay so far. Hope that keeps going well. Have a good week!
