Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .

In my private life

Happy Sunday!

This week has been quieter than the weeks before, with my husband finally on the mend.

It still took him two weeks to feel better and he know has asthma! Thing he hasn’t had since he was 15 years old so… a very long time ago!
We hope this won’t be permanent.

Other than that, illnesses are exploding here, a mix of flu, cold, various viruses and COVID cases.
So far so good for me so knock on wood!

Tomorrow, I’ll drive my mom to and from the hospital for a colonoscopy and we hope everything will be fine. That’s when working from home comes in handy! You can take a break in your working day and resume right after, as long as you have the work done.

A more exciting news (for me at least!), today I’ll be LIVE on youtube (if I can master my new camera and microphone of course) talking with an indie author, a book box company and a PR company about how to use promo tours and book boxes as an indie author!
It should be a 30 minutes chat live on youtube and if you want to watch, I’ll leave the link here below!

My greatest fear is that the technology would let me down as I’ll do it from my new computer where I never used the camera nor microphone before! So we’ll see!

On the blog this week (click on the picture to read the post)

I managed to post two reviews this week and they were for amazing books that I know will make it to my top books of the year!
So if you are intrigued, go read my post.

And our Top Ten Tuesday was a freebie so I decided to give you a list of my top favorite books since I began blogging till the end of 2021.

Thanks for reading!

Sophie

  1. I hope your husband continues to feel better and the asthma is only temporary. I am trying to convince my husband to go to the doctor for his asthma. It’s gotten worse in the past year after being under control for quite a while. Yay for your live YouTube interview! I hope you are enjoying your week and reading, Sophie.

  2. Thank goodness your husband is feeling better. But that’s scary about the asthma. I have mild asthma and even that is scary at times. Hope your mom’s procedure goes well. Very exciting about the live YouTube event! Hope all went well with no technical glitches. 🙂

  3. I’m glad your husband’s on the mend, but I’m sorry to hear his asthma’s back now. 🙁 I enjoy quiet weeks. I wish I had more of them. I hope you have you a great week!

  4. Hope there’s nothing serious with your mom, glad hubby is doing better. I loved The Great Unknown, though the title doesn’t do the book any favors, IMO.
Good luck with your YouTube debut, I’ll check it out later today!
