Today is Sunday, time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week in and out of the blog. As usual I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly @caffeinatedreviewer .
As it’s the first Sunday of May, I will also write my April Wrap Up!
In my private life
Well the big news is that I now have a date for my first COVID shot: next Wednesday 05/05!
And my husband will have his the day after.
Let’s hope that until that date I don’t have a fever or … 😀
This week has been great compared to past ones, not only with finally a date for the vaccine but also because I got to see friends!
On Wednesday morning, I went for a long walk with one friend and in the afternoon, I went to an exhibition (that time with mask as we were indoor) with another!
It was about technology: the frightening side and the good side of it. We hadn’t seen each other in months so that was great! Meeting friends and attending exhibition is really food for the soul to me!
Also, if you want to have a laugh, I did another fun reel yesterday 😀

Last month was a slow reading month as I have read eight books but I have three favorites, one whose review will be published next week!
My winners this month:
And the one with the incoming review: The Light through the Leaves by Glendy Vanderah (review next week and fice stars)
Thanks for reading!
I love how 8 is a slow reading month for you! If I manage to read 4 books in a month I consider it amazing!
So awesome about the vaccine. I am loving the series by Armentrout and happy to see you loved it as well.
Yay, good luck with your COVID shot tomorrow!
Thank you Lindsey!
Yay, so glad to hear you and your hubby have gotten dates for your first shot. I hope everything goes smoothly for both of you. 🙂
I’m glad you got to enjoy time with friends, hopefully once your vaccinated you’ll have more opportunities to do so.
Wishing you a great reading week
Thank you!
Yay for getting your first shot, Sophie! Also happy you were able to get out and visit with friends.
Thank you Teri!
I’m slated to receive my first vaccine shot on 5/5 as well! Given the happy circumstance, and the date, I guess that a high five is in order!!! (horrible pun, I know… I know…) 😉
I hope it went well for you too Maddalena!
Woohoo!! Can’t wait to get my date, congrats !! Just a few more days to wait – So far i’ve heard only mild symptoms; mother & grandmother being sleepy, and my bestfriend having redness & swelling. There’s just my Indian coworker who said her head was spinning & her arm was hurting with swelling … hoping you’d have mild ones if you do get some xx
So lovely you could meet friends too, Iknow it works wonders on one’s mood!
Have a nice May xx
Thank you Kristina!
Congrats on you Covid vaccine! I get my second one this Thursday and I’m so happy, although I hope I don’t get sick. Have a good week, Sophie!
Thank you Tammy!
Hey you pirate! Nice IG reel. 🙂 And Fable looks so big in that reel- maybe it’s just the angle?
Good luck with the shot!!!!
Thank you Greg!
I am so glad you are getting vaccinated and got to do things with friends!
Glad you have a vaccination date! That’s awesome news. 🙂
Thank you Nicci!
That’s brilliant news about your vaccines! I’m hopeful mine will be next month, fingers crossed.
Have a great week!
Thank you Heather!
Glad you got your appt for the vaccine! Seeing friends is the best medicine isn’t it! And a slow reading month is 8 books? I don’t hit that on a good month!!!!
So happy to hear you’re having your first shot, and I hope it’s Pfizer or Moderna as they have little or no side effects. My partner foes this afternoon for their shot, and I had mine on Wednesday! Good luck and just take it easy.
It is Moderna Alex! And my mom had nearly no side effect, just an itch in her arm so I hope that will be the same for me!
Yay!! I’m so happy you have a vaccination appointment! That is just awesome. And I’m glad you had some time with friends-that is important.
Thank you Samantha!
The struggle with technology is real. Sounds like an interesting exhibit (and something I often contemplate as well). Yeah for getting your vaccine appointment. I hope all goes well!
Thanks Sam!
So happy you are getting your first shot…and then, shortly afterwards, the second one! Enjoy that feeling of relief.
Thanks for visiting my blog, and enjoy your reading and viewing.
