Sorry I am posting late (again) and I was MIA on the blog and WordPress (again, and I sound like a broken record) but fate has been conspiring against me this week.
Well that can sound a little bit melodramatic but let me explain!
Wednesday was one of these days in a year where nothing goes your way.
I was due to have a vehicle inspection (safety inspection?) in the afternoon but when I had finished loading my trunk with all the groceries, frozen food and dairy, my car refused to start.
Problem with the battery (ironic for an electric vehicle but luckily it was the small battery).
My car shop was closed for holiday and I had to contact the other shop from that franchise that is located 35 km away.
The assistance arrived 40 minutes later (while I was sweating under 30° celsius and despairing for my frozen food and dairy). He charged the battery and told me to go to the repair shop. My husband hadn’t charged the (big) battery so I prayed all along to get to the shop!
Then it was ridiculous as I could get a replacement car but it would be delivered at my home! And I was 35 km away from home!
In the end, I called my son who drove me home with my groceries and on Thursday, I was back with the replacement car to get my own car with a new battery!
I swear my blood pressure was through the roof and I was exhausted by the heat, the stress and everything else!
Now I had to reschedule the vehicle inspection on top of everything and I will go next Wednesday.
Needless to say that between these problems, my son moving out of the house and my decoration project plus work well, my free blog time has been reduced to nothing.

Sorry to hear that you have had such a struggling week there. I wasn’t feeling well so didn’t do much in blog stuff this week until I got to the weekend. So I definitely relate with you there. Hope this week is much better for you.
Ugh! That is so frustrating! I have been so busy that I got some posts up this past week but had no time to go comment on other blogs. :-(. Hoping maybe this week? But not starting off great so far!

That is definitely stressful. I don’t know anything about e-cars, and I have leased my cars for a long time (new car every 3 years, no repairs – makes sense since I drive so little). It was good you were able to eventually get it sorted.
Oh Sophie I’m sorry!! What a hassle! Hopefully everything is good now. I never respond to stress well when I’m hot. Its like it short circuits my brain!
