Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .
In my private life
Happy Sunday!
Well I feel like a broken record as this week I have been unable to blog again.
The famous remodeling project is taking ages and this weekend it’s been painting the walls. We applied nearly two layers everywhere and I am hurting in the neck, back and shoulders!
I have Dolly Parton “working nine to five” in my head because that’s what we did my daughter and I yesterday and today.
And just when I thought we were nearly finished, my husband told me that a third layer was needed! GAH!
I guess I will be proud once this is all over but honestly all these videos on Instagrame showing rooms remodeled by super women who make it look so easy are LYING! That’s not easy and that’s not fast.
Silver lining this week though: I had a mammogram (I hate and dread it every time) but I have a clean heakth bill. Pfew!
My husband has been down the whole week with a virus (the doctor thinks it’s COVID) and I have been exhausted fighting the viruses. Fingers crossed that I am now out of the blue!
As usual I am leaving you with a funny reel.

Well as I said last week has been very quiet post wise and I have only posted one review planned two weeks ago!

Thanks for reading!
Sophie

Yay for a good mammogram, but sorry your husband’s under the weather, Sophie. Hope the rest of the remodeling goes smoothly!
If only it was as easy as the influencers make it look, I wouldn’t have a home improvement to-do list three miles long lol! It definitely is a lot of hard work, but it’s worth it and I’m sure it’ll look great when it’s done!
Good luck with the remodeling, Sophie! And hope your husband and you are getting better/not getting sick!
Life gets busy! I get it! But can’t wait to see the finished room for sure. Hope this is a good week too!

Sorry, your husband is sick. Did you get your booster? I have auto-immune issues so I keep up to date with them. Once you are done with the DIY, I am sure you will be delighted, but it ain’t easy.
Social media delights in pretending decorating/renovating is fun and easy!
I just got another Covid booster last week, I do not want a repeat of that awful virus.
I hope you find time to read soon!
Thanks for sharing your week, happy reading!
Yay for the clean health bill!! But I am sorry for the virus! I hope you and your husband will feel better soon!! Also, remodeling can be exhausting, so hang in there!!
Yikes- yeah the renovations making you tired makes you easier to fall sick, prompt recovery! You’ll enjoy it once its done xx
I have done remodeling in the past so I know how much work it is! I know three people with Covid right now, but luckily I haven’t been in contact with them. I hope your husband feels better soon!
I hope the completed project will be very satisfying and that you all are feeling well now.
