Hi dear friends!

 

This Tuesday is a field day for cover lovers like me! I know they say “don’t judge a book by its cover” but who can honestly say never have been swayed by a pretty cover he? Well not me!

So Shanah @bionicbookworm is asking us about our Top 5 covers but of course I could not stop at five!

As I read YA and Adult romance I chose my top 6 books in each genre.

When I look back at my choices, I’ve noticed that:

 

I love girly covers with either delicate details or pastel colors like these:

 

Or I love them with birds on the cover and a flair for the dramatics like:

 

I love kickass warrior like female characters on the cover

And there are the pretty miscellaneous 😀 

Now do tell me do we share some favorites? What genre or design do you tend to prefer?

  6. I’m not much of a cover lover. A cover may catch my eye, but it’s the blurb that makes me want it or not. To make it worse (for those marketing a book) I have no idea what book cover will catch my eye. There’s, like, no pattern to my tastes! lol

    1. Hahahaha you are what we call in French “l’électron libre” in one word: unpredictable! Yes a nightmare for people marketing the book!
