Hi friends,
Today in top 5 Tuesday Shanah m@bionicbookwor wants us to give you our top 5 authors with their names beginning with the letters A to E. That can be a first name or last name.
I thought it would be pretty simple and, you know me, just had to twist it!
So I added some spice to today’s challenge and decided to choose teams and pitch them agains each other!
Each team has romance or woman’s fiction authors as well as YA author. They all share the same first letter in their first name (or name if I can’t find one). From two to three, max four authors. I have read them all!
By the end of the post, you comment with your winning team!
Let’s the battle begin!
Team A: I am pairing : Amy Harmon (graceful moving writing) with Annette Marie (spunk, action and fun) and Alice Oseman (challenging and talks about sensitive topics)Â
Team B: I am pairing Brittainy C Cherry (heartwrenching stories and battered heroes) with Bryn Greenwood (unconventional, does not give a rat @ss of what people think of her topics and extremely efficient writing) with Brandon Sanderson (the King of epic stories, amazing science fiction books filled with action, heroics and twists).
Team C: Pairing Chloe Walsh (best alpha supportive heroes and sweet but angsty stories ) with Cassandra Clare (the Queen of Shadowhunters, can write huge books and huge series and keep you on the edge of your seat all the time!)
Team D : Pairing Daisy Prescott (perfect definition of romance stories with worthy heroes) with Delia Owens (best woman fiction of the last years).
Team E: Pairing my unicorn author Emma Scott (best romances!) with Erin Watt (writes perfect handsome bullies and sibling stories) with Elizabeth Lim (best cover, amazing Asian fantasy stories)
.
That’s it! Now who do you think would win today’s battle?
Thanks for reading and lets meet next week for a new battle.
Sophie
How fun! My vote goes to Team E!!
E for Emma right? LOL
What a fun battle! I haven’t read several of these so it’s hard for me to pick, but I did absolutely love Where the Crawdads Sing so I’m going to say Team D.
Where The Crawdads Sing was amazing Suzanne!
I think Team E would win the battle!
I think so too Raven 😉
Love the spin you did for the topic Soph. But aaaah, I don’t know which team I prefer because you included one of my fave authors in each team. Like Cassie Clare in one, Brandon Sanderson on the other, Delia Owens, Alise Oseman and Elizabeth Lim. They’re all in different teams. Hehe.
I know I am eveil like that Lili 😉
I haven’t read any of these books or authors apart from Annette Marie – I am enjoying her The Guild Codex: Spellbound series. 😉
Let’s go with Annette then! I loved her red Winter trilogy!
Team C for me! Cassandra Clare all the way! 🙂
Hahaha that’s why I said she is the queen 😉
Damn woman! I LOVE this twist sooooo much! I think I have to choose team B – only because there’s Brandon Sanderson in the mix! Let the battle begin mwahahaha
Well Shanah I bet they would write something unconventional, with lots of action, flawed hero and destructive streak
Yes Shanah and wait what next week will bring LOL
I loved Radio silence!
Me too Greg so much!
That’s so hard!!!!!!!!! I will go with Team A
Haha some great names right? I bet it would be something amazingly written about teens needing acceptance because being different and with a very witty best friend
Ooh, so many good ones!! I would have to say Team E!
Yes!!!
