Hi dear friends,

Can’t Wait Wednesday/Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Wishful Endings and was previously hosted by Breaking the Spine.   It was created to show off a future release that you are excited for.

I wanted to share this one last week as soon as I learned the news but well …smartphone stolen and all I never got the opportunity!

The book that I can’t wait to read and have already pre-ordered today is Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater!

I completely missed reading her Ravens Boy so I want to begin this new series asap!

Synopsis

The dreamers walk among us . . . and so do the dreamed. Those who dream cannot stop dreaming – they can only try to control it. Those who are dreamed cannot have their own lives – they will sleep forever if their dreamers die.

And then there are those who are drawn to the dreamers. To use them. To trap them. To kill them before their dreams destroy us all.

Ronan Lynch is a dreamer. He can pull both curiosities and catastrophes out of his dreams and into his compromised reality.

Jordan Hennessy is a thief. The closer she comes to the dream object she is after, the more inextricably she becomes tied to it.

Carmen Farooq-Lane is a hunter. Her brother was a dreamer . . . and a killer. She has seen what dreaming can do to a person. And she has seen the damage that dreamers can do. But that is nothing compared to the destruction that is about to be unleashed. . . .

And you what’s the book you can’t wait to read today?

Thanks for reading!

Sophie

  1. I didn’t start the Raven either. I would like to read some more Maggie Stiefvater, I read some of her earlier works but haven’t read her in years. I think it was Linger and that series. I would have to look it up. I would like to try some of her more recent works.

    1. I read the first book many years ago and loved it Raven! I should re-read it and go on with the series!

  2. This is an author I’ve never encountered before – but she is on my radar as I’ve heard such great things about her writing. I’ll have to track down The Raven Boys… Thank you for the share:)

    1. Hahaha Alexandra read Meeghan’s advice here above! It seems we’d be in for reading another series before this one but I so want it!
