Hi friends,
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Today’s theme is : Love Freebie (come up with your own topic having to do with love)
I chose to speak about love stories I’ll never forget.
They may be because they were dramatic (like The Silver Cage, Forbidden), because they opened my eyes to a new kind of love (like Wolfsong), because they showed a soul searing love that will transcend death (The Boy and his Ribbon, A Thousand Boy Kisses) or a forbidden love, happening in dire circumstances (From Sand and Ash). It could be because they made me revolt and rage against injustice (Maybe Someday) or simply because they were the perfect mix of light and thoughtful (The Kiss Quotient, Boyfriend Material) or because they made me sigh and swoon and cry and…like Mists of the Serengeti.

Thanks for reading!
Sophie

Some of these are new to me and they sound wonderful, especially the Amy Harmon and the Emma Scott books, so I’ll be adding them to my TBR
I hope you’ll love them Suzanne!
Forbidden is one I’ll never forget either.
Me neither!!!
What does it say about me that I have only read TWO of these books haha I had a fun time with The Kiss Quotient and I think you were one of the influencers for convincing me to take a chance on Wolfsong. But I have A Thousand Boy Kisses on my list and I plan on reading it this year.
Great list you have here. Gotta love books about love and HEA.
How is it possible Renee! LOL
I haven’t read any of these ack! But I have a hold on The Kiss Quotient and I’m hoping I love it as much as you!
I know you will!
I’m hoping to read A Thousand Boy Kisses soon! I love Tillie Cole’s writing. It always messes me up. I loved The Kiss Quotient! Such a great book.
Genesis @ Whispering Chapters
I cried so much reading that one Genesis!
The Kiss Quotient is definitely one that I won’t forget, either! I need to look up some of these other ones on your list for my tbr. 🙂
The Kiss Quotient was so unique!
Wolfsong is a book that’s been on my TBR for a while. I need to read it!
I acn’t wait for you to do it Tammy!!
I am a fan of the lighter books with some depth, like Boyfriend Material and TKQ. I have to be in the mood for the angsty and melodramatic books.
Those two books are the perfect definition of light with depth!
Awesome list, Sophie. Well-written love/romance stories can really get us emotionally! 😀
Exactly Lashaan!
