Hello Dear friends,
It’s Friday!!!!!
I really waited for the weekend as I have tons of blogging stuff to catch up with beginning with following, liking and commenting your posts! February is a fantastic blogging month so far with the daily event All About Love but it also was really hard to follow.
Tomorrow I’m drawing the winners of the All About Love posts offering a giveaway so it’s time to enter!
You’ll also get in a few minutes another announcement for next month plus another giveaway!
My plans for the weekend, reading and blogging aside are preparing my travel to London next weekend. I’m so excited to go meet most of my favorite romance authors at RARE London! Squee!!!
I have to decide how I will travel with all my books, what I’ll wear etc. Expect a post about it later.
Now about First Line Friday
First Line Friday is a weekly event hosted by Hoarding Books.
It’s really easy all you have to do is open the book that you are reading or the first book you get your hands on, open it and write the first lines.
It would be fantastic of course if you could visit the other participants and comment on their posts. Comments are blogger’s currency LOL
Here I go:
“It was her favorite dream.
The golden dagger lay before Valia on a velvet cushion. Beautiful. Powerful. Deadly. She picked it up, the golden hilt ice cold against her skin.”
These are the lines of a much awaited conclusion of the Falling Kingdoms series: Immortal Reign by Morgan Rhodes.
Now what are your first lines? Leave them below and I’ll go visit and comment 😉
Happy Friday friends.
