Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Depending on the weekly topic I write a post and this week’s theme picked my interest!
This week’s TTT topic is a cover freebie. And I have decided to go for covers of books published in 2020. Some I own, others not…yet!
Let’s begin with four of my most favorite fantasy writers. The ones that I would fall from my chair if I ever got a physical ARC of.
Then we have three amazing covers with faces/people on them with truly talented artists!
Some amazing patterns now or color combo like white/pink/green or grey/gold
And a last one that was a big crush as a story and as a cover
What do you think of my choices? Have you read any of these?
Thanks for reading!
I adore TJ Klune’s cover, so pretty! Great list!
I alway find Fable’s to be absolutely stunning! ..even if it’s kind of simple, half of a woman’s face.. but she’s gorgeous with her red hair & black lipsticks, and omg thoses eyes!
The Burning God!!! And alongside the previous two books, it is clear that those three are stunning!!! 😀
Yes yes!! I can’t wait Lashaan!
People say don’t judge a book by it’s cover but oh boy do I do that! Hahaha
Hahah me too!
I have seen The House in the Cerulean Sea serval times today, and it’s beautiful. There is so much color and movement in that picture. Love it!
Sam you’d love it I swear !
I LOVE the cover for The House in the Cerulean Sea. It makes me so happy.
Me too Meeghan!
Star Daughter truly has a gorgeous cover and I loved the ones for the city of brass trilogy as well ^.^
I know!!
Basically every book I ever got in a subscription box would be on my list
Ha! True!
… speaking of gorgeous covers! What great choices!
Thank you Em!
These are so pretty!
Right?
Oooo so many pretty covers!! Great choices. I love all of this but especially Girl Serpent Thorn and Star Daughter. The detail on the Crescent City cover is also incredible
Thank you!!
Great choices, Sophie. All of Clare’s covers are stunning.
Right?
Love your choices, and yes, the one thing fantasy is good at, is great cover art. Why crime fiction has such bad covers never ceases to amaze me.
I know! Why, right?
