Hi friends,
Today is Sunday, time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week in and out of the blog. As usual I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly @caffeinatedreviewer .
In my private life
Last week I said that I was settling in a routine while on lockdown and each week is more or less wash, rince, repeat!
I do some grocery shopping twice a week going outside and wearing mask and gloves. Except this week when I also went to the post office to send my Black Dagger Brotherhood’s Funko Pop to Texas!
I learned that the post does not ship outside Europe any longer as they don’t have any carrier BUT a very helpful postma told me that they still shipped in Express as they worked with DHL.
If I was to use DHL it would cost me 120 EUR! UPS is 63 EUR but the post has some agreement and it was sent for only 39 EUR!
I can’t wait now to see when the funko pop will find its new owner!
With the long Easter weekend and this Saturday included, I created four more funko pop!
See below!
The fairy has been shipped to UK. I hope it will arrive unscathed.
You may have noticed that I post less these last weeks.
I confess that I am coping with Covid with reading and creating these dolls. So basically I only post reviews and the Top 5 Tuesday.
I think I’d like to add another meme or kind of “list” post, something easy to do as my brain is also working hard behind a computer the whole day right now!
Health wise, everyone in my family is still healthy and we avoid getting close to others like plague all while being extremely social on our walks, each on our side of the road LOL.
That’s pretty it as far as news go this week.
Without futher ado, here are the last funko sans Vishous as I promised Trisy @bobosbookbank to wait for her and make a common post once she holds it.
The Fairy Funko
Louise Leblanc and Reid from Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mathurin
James Herondale from Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare

One very high and one very low reads this week.
First my biggest disappointment: Imagine Me by Tahereh Mafi. I am a huge fan of the series and I had preordered the book as soon as I knew it would be released. Unfortunately this did not live up to my expectation and I published a very unpopular opinion rating the book at 2,5 stars.
On the other hand, a book that will be on my top books of the year was Crescent City by Sarah J Maas. It took me some time to fall into it as she is far from her ToG or ACOTAR universe but once I was in, I was all in! Damn that woman can write! And the action scenes at the end of the book were mind blowing! I gave it 6 stars!
My only non review post was the Top 5 Tuesday where I gave you my list of favorite books to make you laugh and smile!
On the blogosphere and in the literary world this week
As Epic Reads seems on strike quiz related, I found one for you on Book Riot asking what your favorite classic would be. Click on the graphic to take the quiz
I have some interesting posts for you to read too!
Sha shares with you many bookish events happening online! Si la montagne ne vient pas à toi, va à la montagne. Kind of like saying from authors and publishers POV if the readers don’t go to them, they’ll go to the readers.

That was my week! Meagre I know but that’s all you’ve got today! How was your week? How are you holding on? Everyone healthy?
Thanks for reading!
Sophie
Sophie your custom funkos are amazing!!
Thank you so much Meeghan!
I don’t know how you do it, those FUNKO’s look legit AMAZING! Do you create fake “boxes” for them too? 😮 Stunning stuff, Sophie!
Making funko pops seems like a fun and creative way to deal with the corona stress. That fairy funko looks great and I hope it arrives safely.
That fairy Funko looks so cute! I also like Lou and Reid!
International postage is a killer!
Anything that gets you through these times is a good thing, are your Funko’s are fab!
Wishing you a great reading week and good health
Thank you so much ! You too!
Hooray for having outlets to keep you sane and help you through this crazy time.
Exactly Tanya!
Oh man, I would LOVED to have seen your Vishious Funko Pop!
Hopefully soon Wendy!!!
Love your Funko Pops! They are delightful!
Thank you so much Maddalena!!
Glad you and your family are staying healthy, Sophie!
Thank you Teri!
The Funko pops are just amazing! Aren’t you clever?? Glad you have found something to keep your mojo going – it’s hard, otherwise. I hope the coming week is a creative and healthy one for you.
Thank you!!!
You are the Funko queen! They looks amazing. And yes the social distancing haha will it ever end? Hopefully! I hate even going out now as so many people here seem to be not getting the message on proper distancing/ masks/ etc. Anyway be well this week!
Thank you Greg! And stay safe too!
Your Funkos are so cute! I can see why people all over the world want them. Have a great week!
Thank you AJ and you too!
It’s expensive to ship out of the country! I hope Texas enjoys their Funko. Glad to hear you’re still able to socialize while keeping a safe distance. Take care, Sophie! 🙂
Each week I am in awe of your talent! You create the most amazing things!
I need to read Crescent City but the hardback is just so big! I’d strain something trying to read that in bed so it limits my options, lol. I’ll get to it eventually and probably sooner than expected now you’ve given it 6 stars! I want to know what the fuss is about!
I don’t have much energy for blogging or internets right now either… Not now I’ve finally started reading again after an epic slump but I’m not worrying about it. Whatever works for us! Right now it’s limiting internet, reading LOTS and baking that’s getting me though. Funko’s and reading sounds like more than valid choices. 🙂
Glad you’re family are all doing well and you’re healthy! What a crazy world we have at the moment…
Sophie, you are fast becoming the Funko Queen. I bet your creations are going down a treat, and yes, I too hope their new owners love them. And so good to know you are all doing okay, and are healthy, as last year you had plenty enough illness, without covid on top this year!!! Take care.
Wow you are a Funko Pop wizard. I’m glad you are finding a fun thing.
Stay safe and have a great week! Happy reading!
Anne – Books of My Heart Here is my Sunday Post
Thank you Anne!
Cant wait till Trisy gets her funko!!!
Keep your chin up my friend ❤❤
You too Caro!!!
You should set up an Etsy shop!
I am thinking of it Jacquie but my problem is that each funko would be a unique creation as I don’t like doing the same twice LOL
I love those dolls! I spend time changing my blog themes and headers…and occasionally reading and watching movies.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Thank you Laurel!
Your pops are cute! It’s the perfect time to get creative!
Have a great week! 🙂
I LOVE Lou and Reid!
I love that you are still making things for others even durign these trying times. I hope you have a great week ahead.
Thank you so much!!!
That’s awesome that the funko making is helping you get through this, and bringing extra joy to those who receive them. Another fine batch there too. And, yeah for not losing your reading mojo. So many people are saying they are slumping because of quarantine.
I know Sam! But I think precisely reading then creating is what helps me keep my mojo!
James Herondale! I haven’t even read Chain of Gold yet but I want one.
As I have just read your review for the Red Scrolls…I know you are a fan LOL
