Hi dear friends,
The Sunday post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Reviewer. Time to look back on my week and talk about life events and blog related news.
First things first: Happy Mothers day!!!
Being a mother is the most beautiful but also the most demanding job in the world so we all deserve a special day.
Personal life
I had some days off work and ended playing taxi driver for my kids! My husband was biking abroad with some friends when the kids had a ton of activities so I was left to chauffeur them everywhere: rock climbing classes, school coach, doctor, theater play etc.
Between drives I tried to read and blog. I am plain exhausted today! But the weather was great and I had fun at my daughter’s theater play.
Blogwise
Many things happened on the blog and on my reading list! Since last Sunday I have reviewed two books but managed to read five books!!! It’s been a long time since it happened.
Here are the books I’ve reviewed (click on the graphic to read the review)
The Chateau is an erotic but truly deserved 4,5 stars!
4,5 Stars for that YA Fantasy Ash Princess (with a 6 stars for the cover!)
I have read The Absolutely True Diary of A Part Time Indian by Sherman Alexie for the Banned Books Club (review coming by the end of the month), an ARC of Nicole Williams “Almost Impossible” (hopefully review later next week) and “Letters to the Lost” by Brigid Kemmerer (I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Raven for your review that made me read it!).
I posted the interview of an author I dreamed interviewing for years now: Tijan. Click on the graphic to read it. She has been so generous in her answers!
For once I also posted a poem. Surprising but when I read Letters to the Lost the hero, Declan was really touched by two lines of a poem. I was intrigued and went looking for it. Here you have it again as I think that Invictus by William Ernest Henley is inspirational and empowering!
I also posted every single day about Suanne Laqueur as she is the first author in the #T4AuthorsChallenge that I chose.
Last but not least here are the memes I did this week (click on the graphic to read):
For I Heart Character my pet was … Abraxos!
And my First Impression Friday was about “Letters to the Lost”
Now next week will be busy as hell as I have to prepare and help Aleatha Romig to take our FB Group over!!!!!!
Then each day post about my second Top 4 Author namely Emma Scott. Plus write and post three reviews and read two ARCs!!!!
OMG I will be so busy but it will be so great!
Last but not least here are the posts that caught my attention on the blogosphère this week.
Dani talks about the struggle of commenting https://perspectiveofawriter.com/2018/05/12/commenting-back-facts-discussion/
Shruti tells us how NOT to react with non book lovers https://thisislitblog.com/2018/05/13/5-ways-you-should-not-react-when-that-annoying-friend-says-they-dont-read/

How was your week?
Happy Sunday!
5 books in a single week… Wow. Well done! It has been SO long since I’ve been able to do to that! I call a good week 3, lol.
I can’t agree more with you Nicci! I was the first suprised!!
Happy belated Mom’s Day!! Also, Aleatha Romig??? So cool!! Have a great week!
Yes yes also Aleatha Romig!!! Thank you Trisy and happy belated Mom’s day to you too <3
Happy reading! I do a lot of reading or listening while driving my daughter around, waiting for her in medical appts or college classes. You are clearly much more talented with graphics than me. Anne – Books of My Heart
Oh I would love being able to listen to audiobooks while driving. Unfortunately I need to focus too much 😉 And thanks for your praise!
Your week seems awesome! SO MANY BOOKS 😀 A Time of Dread’s cover is STUNNING *heart eyes*
Thank you Casey and yes the cover is just fantastic!!!
Happy Belated Mother’s Day! Sounds like you had a very busy week! My mom used to be a taxi for my Sister and I as well. She couldn’t wait till we were able to drive ourselves (I never understood why parents don’t let their kids get their licenses on time! My mom was so excited when she didn’t have to chauffeur us around anymore, it was more of a reward for her than it was for us!)
Oh Brittany I can’t wait for them to have their driving licence.
Happy Mother’s Day! I’m a bit late haha. I find it funny, Mother’s Day is only at the end of the month for us, here in France. I hope you had a wonderful day 😀
Five books in a week?! Wow, that’s amazing, you’re on a roll! I’m so glad you enjoyed Ash Princess, that book sounds great and I LOVE the cover as well haha.
Wishing you a wonderful week! 😀
Happy mothers day to you !! <3

Happy Mother’s Day! Glad you got to interview a fav. I love Tijan!
Oooh A Tijan fan too! Yay!
Nice wrap up! I’m so glad you loved Letter’s To The Lost! If you enjoyed Declan’s story then you’ll definitely love Rev’s story. I haven’t read Ash Princess yet but I’ll soon.
