Hi dear friends!

Last week I said that July’s topic for the Top 5 Tuesday could be back to school when you learned your letters well the fun is going on strong!

Shanah @bionicbookworm is asking us for books, preferably favorites or the ones we want to read, that begins with each letter of the alphabet!

This week we go to F, G, H, I, J.

To make it more fun I will am still choosing one word beginning with the same letter to describe the book (or I’ll try to) 😀  AND I am avoiding “A …” or “The…” except when it’s about A or T. What can I say! I love a good challenge!

Ready?

F

Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma was…FORBIDDEN (easy I know but so apt!);

Full Tilt by Emma Scott was FAULTLESS (but that ending ….still sobbing)

From Sand and Ash by Amy Harmon was FORMIDABLE

From Lukov With Love by Mariana Zapata was FUNNY (I loved the banter and the family)

Father Figure by James Cudney was FASCINATING

Forever Right Now by Emma Scott was FEROCIOUS (like Darlene’s love and passion)

G

Graceling by Kristin Cashore was GLORIOUS

Goodbye Days by Jeff Zentner was GENUINE

H

Honor Among Thieves by Rachel Caine and Ann Aguirre was  HEADY

Heartbreak Warfare by Heather M Orgeron and Kate Stewart was HEARTBREAKING

Heir of Fire by Sarah J Maas was HEROIC

I

I’ll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios was INTIMATE

I Have Lost My Way by Gayle Forman was INSPIRING

If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch was INTENSE

It Ends With Us by Coleen Hoover was INSIDIOUS

J

Jersey Six by Jewel E Ann was JITTERING

Now that’s your turn! What would be your choices? Do we have some in common?

Thanks for reading!

Sophie

  1. From Sand and Ash was everything I wanted and loved – history, romance, a slight paranormal/divine intervention aspect. Loved it. I have Heartbreak Warfare on my Kindle but haven’t picked it up yet. And I’ve read three out of four of your “I” books! Go me! I’ll Meet You There was staggering in the way it affected me. And It End With Us was heartbreakingly emotional. Awesome picks, Sophie!

  2. Full Tilt wrecked me in every single way possible. My heart felt like it shattered into a billion pieces. Ugh, but it was soooooo good too. I’ll Meet You There was another book that completely decimated me. The PTSD reminded me of someone from my past and again my heart shattered. I need to go read more books by both of these authors, thank you for the reminder! You picked some amazingly, emotional books, love it! ♥

    1. Bwahahah I can’t fault you Laura! I am currently on a book ban till YALC as I had such grand ideads last months 😉

  3. Full Tilt and Goodbye Days were such crying books for me. Loved them! I Have Lost My Way wowed me. The idea of connection that Forman wove throughout that story was phenomenal.

  4. I like your extra challenge of trying to find an adjective to describe how the book made you feel. Perhaps I’ll try to do the same next week with my T5T.

  5. I’m screaming at you in my head, Sophie, damn, but you come up with a ton of great suggestions to books I need to check out and yes, read! Maybe in August… yeah, maybe in August! 😉

    1. Bwahahaha yes I know all about looking at others recommendations and adding even more books to your TBR pile Alexandra 😉
