Happy Tuesday!

Today in #BestReadsOf2020 we are talking about our favorite OTP (One True Pairing) that we have read this year!

As I do love romance in books, I have a mile long list of favorites!

My contenders are:
💜Elsie and Kael from Not What You Expected;

💜 Cheyenne and Cut from The Not Outcast

💜 Alex and Henry from Red, White and Royal Blue

,
💜 Naomi and John from Where the Lost Wander

;
💜 Cordelia and James from Chain of Gold

But my big winners with an love worth of legends are…
DIANA BISHOP and MATTHEW DE CLERMONT

A witch and a vampire, loving each other against all odds.
Their love was exemplar and they just were perfect for each other!

“Before you I was nothing but dust and shadows. You brought me to life. And I cannot survive without you.”
― Deborah Harkness, The Book of Life

Isn’t that quote just SO ROMANTIC? Swoon 😉

Now tell me you favorite couples this year!

Thanks for reading!

Sophie

  1. I loved a Discovery of Witches! Matthew and Diana ARE perfect for each other. I adored them… Now I need to get reading and finish that series!

    The other couples, I’m unfamiliar with but I have a few of these on my kindle/shelves already so hopefully soon I’ll have an opinion. 😉

  2. I mostlt reread books or continued sequels in 2020 so I didn’t get that many new ships. I did really enjoy Marrow (Moffy and Farrow from Like Us series) and Willow and Garrison from Bad Reputation Duet. I need to try to read more new reads in 2021.

  3. Sadly I haven’t read any of these books, but my reading this year has definitely been off for the first 4/5ths of this year eeks! But my favorite couple in contemporary would probably be Julian and Keato from RVD for adult and Angie and Ten from Olivia Wildenstein for YA.

  4. ahhh I need A discovery of witches asap!! Some of my fav couples this year would have to be from Cruel Intentions by siobhan davis, Angry God by LJ Shen, The Bargainer, and the Bridge Kingdom!! Great post 🙂
