It’s already day 5 of Book Boyfriend Challenge!
After the bad boy and the BDSM we now have another kind of intimidating and dangerously thrilling kind of males: THE BIKERS!
I don’t know why but seeing a strong male riding is bike is very…inspiring! Why strong you say? Well have you tried to lift these mechanical rides? They weight usually more than 200 to 250 pounds! Or 100 to 125 Kg for Europeans.
Not for men with noodles as arms that’s for sure!
Then there is the thighs! Pressing firmly your ride for hundreds of miles between said thight is the best fitness work.
So strong arms and muscled thighs makes for some hot males too, right? 😀
So let’s see my personal bikers bilboard:
N°5 Deuce in Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan
He is a anti-hero and does horrible things. I would not say that I loved him but he made a formidable impression. The story was so dark and twisted that Deuce stayed in my memory even as a very bad guy.
Even the synopsis came with this huge warning:
“Warning: This is not a “typical love story”. This is an all-consuming, soul-crushing, tear-your-heart-into-pieces story. It’s intense, gritty and raw, dark and disturbing, and it doesn’t happen overnight. This is an epic love story that knows no boundaries and has no time limits. It grows and develops—with hurt, sacrifice, and heartache—over the span of a lifetime. “
N° 4: Horse in Reaper’s Property by Joanna Wylde
I love Joanna Wylde’s books in general as it sets the story in the bikers world but with a softer undertone.
Horse was just the right amount of gruff but sexy. Teaching a lesson but protecting her at the same time.
“ Horse was dangerous. I could smell it on him. Seriously. Under the delicious scent of leather, light sweat, and man was a pungent strain of pure trouble.
Synopsis excerpt:
“Marie doesn’t need a complication like Horse. The massive, tattooed, badass biker who shows up at her brother’s house one afternoon doesn’t agree. He wants Marie on his bike and in his bed. Now.(…)Horse is part of the Reapers Motorcycle Club, and when he wants something, he takes it. What he wants is Marie, but she’s not interested in becoming “property of”.
N°3: Marcus Tandem in Till Death by Bella Jewel
Even if he is less “bikery” than the other contenders he still deserves to stand on this list. I was fascinated by this very dark and bad boy hero. He will do abolutely everything to reach his goal even crushing his woman. Not very promising you would say but there was just a little something that kept me inhaling these books.
He’s a j@rk and does not deny it. But he is a sexy, possessive, controlling jerk. Smart, good-looking gifted in bed he is ruthless. It was an explosive cocktail!!!
Some favorite quotes to illustrate:
“Love isn’t for men like me. I don’t have the time or the interest. Love is for the weak.”
“A man like Marcus is dangerous for me. He’ll destroy me. Crush me. Take my life in his hands and twist it until there’s nothing left but a pathetic, dangling string left.”
N°2: Kane “Tack” Allen from Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley
Tack was of course gorgeous, Uber ALPHA, with a huge sex drive but above all else he LOVED with everything he had in his heart! It was a huge love no hold barred. He does not play games. He is a man who appreciates a woman who has a bit of “SOFT” inside her.
See what Tyra says about him and tell me if you would not melt:
“I promised myself, as a little girl, that I would settle for nothing less than my dream man. Nothing less. It was crazy. I’ve thought on it and I don’t even know why I vowed that to myself, I just did. Girls do that, sure. Then the reality of life seeps in and they get over it. My dream man or nothing. So I looked for him my whole life. I was going to live that dream, I would settle for nothing less. So I had nothing until that night at Ride when I met you.”
N°1 UNRIVALLED IN MY HEART: Grizz from the Nine Minutes series by Beth Flynn
Now if I did enjoy enormously all the other contenders there is no one holding a candle to Grizz.
Sorry Ladies and Gents I called dibs (well, after Ginny).
If you have not read this series by now you should!
Synopsis:
On May 15, 1975, fifteen-year-old Ginny Lemon is abducted from a convenience store in Fort Lauderdale by a member of one of the most notorious and brutal motorcycle gangs in South Florida.
From that moment on, her life is forever changed. She gets a new name, a new identity and a new life in the midst of the gang’s base on the edge of the Florida Everglades—a frightening, rough and violent world much like the swamps themselves, where everyone has an alias and loyalty is tantamount to survival.
And at the center of it all is the gang’s leader, Grizz: massive, ruggedly handsome, terrifying and somehow, when it comes to Ginny, tender. She becomes his obsession and the one true love of his life.
So begins a tale of emotional obsession and manipulation, of a young woman ripped from everything she knows and forced to lean on the one person who provides attention, affection and care: her captor. Precocious and intelligent, but still very much a teenager, Ginny struggles to adapt to her existence, initially fighting and then coming to terms with her captivity.
Will she be rescued? Will she escape? Will she get out alive—or get out at all? Part psychological thriller, part coming-of-age novel, filled with mystery, romance and unexpected turns, Nine Minutes takes readers into the world of one motorcycle gang and inside the heart of a young girl, whose abduction brought about its fall.
Here is what I wrote about Grizz:
“As Grizz showers Ginny with love and attention she realises her mother never really did love her. With Grizz, she is needed and loved.
Grizz is a strong character: he does not relish in violence and murder but does not hesitate to punish and kill if people become a threat. He never feels regret for what he does. The only time in the book he went to some unbelievable torture was because of what happened to Ginny. He’ll do anything for her, to bring her happiness, except release her. Brutal, outlaw, drug dealer but also overprotective and loving, Grizz is a complex man.”
Now what are your favorite bikers?
Thank you for reading.
I ALL of these!
Haha you’re a biker chick Trisy? LOL
