Hi friends,

It’s Sunday and now finally winter, even if temperatures are way too high for the season right now! So time to declutter The Sunday Post and give it a winter vibe with another banner!

As usual I am linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @caffeinatedreviewer

In my private life first

You’ve probably read all the inconveniences and bad juju that hit me these last weeks but … it seems to settle down!

There is my dog’s surgery tomorrow that will cost a hefty price but no real bad news this week!

I even had a migraine this weekend for only a half day so that’s progress!!!!

I am also taking it easy with the blog, reading much more than I used to and drawing again. Why drawing? Because I am buddy reading the Red Winter series with Raven @dreamyaddiction and Jen @starcrossedbookblog and it’s filled with great art reminding me of mangas and animes.

Here is my drawing of Yumei (just a draft so far) totally inspired by what can be found in the book!

Plus my husband has gifted me a graphic tablet so I feel pressured to get back to my pens and sharpies 😀

Tomorrow and after tomorrow I’ll be working and hosting the Christmas dinner on the evening of the 24th… that will be a challenge!

On the blog this week (click on the graphic to read the post)

I have reviewed two books this week, both very good and both buddy reads. And I just finished the audiobook of Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo (review coming next week).

Red Winter by Annette Marie was the first book by her that I have read but it won’t be my last! Raven, Jen and I loved it so much that we began reading the second one right after and we planned to begin the third one today or tomorrow.

The Simple Wild by K.A Tucker was an excellent romance and I had a blast reading it with two friends: Sarah and Tracey!

Blogmas is still going strong and I have a real blast talking about all my favorites!

On Tuesday I think that I wrote one of my most “vicious” posts as Santoesha told me on Facebook! It was a tweaked “letter to Santa” asking (not so) nicely for the books I’d want under the tree.

In the blogosphere and in the literary world

For once I am sending you to a Quizz on Book Riot to know : which marvel hero are you? Click on the graphic below! This is a special Quizz for my friend Lashaan 😀  and I think Greg should appreciate too!

For the rec I am a Valkyrie!

I found this post about organizing your life and your blog most interesting! This is one of Jay (James Cudeny)’s tips!

Tips & Advice: General Life – Organization

That’s it for today friends! How was your week?

Thanks for reading!

Sophie
