Dear reader,
I promised to make this blog more personal so here I am with a life update, a Photoshop made teaser (still learning as you can see) plus a proposal for you *no I won’t ask you to marry me but to play with me and don’t think dirty! 😉 *.
What’s life been these last days.
First I’m still on holiday for a few more days but work will be back full speed by Monday. I hurt myself while boxing and have an inflamed knee. Bed rest or at least no sport till Monday. It may seem like nothing if you don’t like sport but for a sport junkie like I am it’s difficult! I’ve always been bursting with energy and I need an outlet. I’m really glad that I have the blog or I would go crazy.
It’s my fault. I usually box in the swimming pool with tools to slow down the moves and create resistance to heighten the difficulties. It’s a huge burn of energy and the boxing technique is the same. This time I followed my son to its boxing lesson but I did not realize that being a fourty something is not the same as being twenty anymore.
Getting old(er) is difficult especially as my mind hasn’t got the message yet. I fear it will never get it by the way! 😀
The bright side of this forced rest is that I’m training with Photoshop every day (you’ve seen the banner for the Ultimate Reading Challenge Tuesday as it was all home made)! I also have plenty of reading time and today I finished Tijan’s ARC “Ryan’s Bed”.
The review will come later this month but I can already tell you that I have not one single tissue left. Tijan amazed me here. It’s been nothing like her other books.
So here below is my teaser (photoshopped).
For those interested in what I’ve done I have:
-cut the girl from the cover (see the cover here above);
-recreated the gown below as it was like a cut rectangle;
-erased the writing on the arms and torso (I think I could erase a tatto on a cover now and wrinkles LOL);
-added a background with the stairs;
-blurred the background;
-added some “defocused lights” on the stairs as it had some on the girl;
-added the text (that was the easiest part).

Last part: blog plans and my proposal if you are interested
February is usually the month of Love. I know you don’t have to wait for February to show your love for someone and Valentine’s Day can be seen as commercial or nightmarish for single people and… The fact is that it IS a special month. I love reading romances as you have certainly noticed and I’m organizing a daily event. I will post each day a guest post coming from different bloggers and authors (big surprises and I can’t wait for you to read it!). The theme will be “All About Love” and the post can be anything the blogger/writer would like.
I will post daily till I run out of posts.

Wow, this is a great post filled with a WHOLE bunch of awesome news! (Except for your knee, though, that sucks!) I’ll have to think about joining your Love Event…I want to do it but I’m not sure what I’d post!!!
Oh yes Trisy please do it! I wanted to invite you personally anyway. You can write what you want about love really. It can be an array of your favorite romance books, quotes, fictional story… anything!
