Hi friends,
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Today’s theme is book titles that are complete sentence but … I haven’t read one single book with such title! That I can recall of.
So I went rogue and chose to post about the opposite: one word titles!
And maybe (probably) it will be or has been the topic for another Top Ten Tuesday but… here we are ladies and gents! All read and loved ones! Surprisingly I have way more than ten and had to limit myself.
Thanks for reading!
One word book titles are always so powerful! I loved Birthday and Illuminae and would love to read Fable, Stolen and Sadie.
I probably have more on my favourites list that have short titles, too! Great list! 🙂
I love one word book titles. They always grab my attention when I see them at the bookstore.
Did you hear Beartown was getting an TV series adaptation? Exciting news, I bet! 😀
Haha! I went with one word book titles too! 🙂 I had loads to choose from! Birthday and Stolen were such powerful reads. I still think about those from time to time.
Yes! They left such an imprint on my soul!
I think this was a theme once because I remember doing it and finding a ton of titles! Way to go rogue
Bwahaha thank you Tammy!
so many good books, thanks for sharing!
You are very welcome!
Tanya did one word titles too. Believe it or not, I had more trouble finding single word titles on my read-shelf than full sentences.
Yes you nailed it while I failed miserably LOL
Glad you included Stolen! Lucy Christopher doesn’t get enough recognition! She was one of my lecturers at uni
Really? You were so lucky! This is one of my favorite books!
She was the only lecturer who actually inspired us! She’s a great teacher!
