Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .

In my private life

Happy Sunday!

The “big” even tof this week (me going back to work aside) was having tons of snow!

On Wednesday it snowed the whole day and night and we ended up with 15 to 20 cm of snowIt hadn’t happened for years now!

Of course everything was paralysed with huge traffic jams, supressed busses etc. But it was so pretty!

The week before we experienced temperatures of minus 7 degrees celsius and next week we should have + 12° !!! The weather is bonkers!

At work it was a relaxing week as I am bidding my time before leaving for my next job on Fevruary 1st.

And last week I told you that I got commissioned to paint new book edges by an indie author, well here is the result!

You can’t see it clearly but the symbol in the middle is shining thanks to new metallic paints ! The picture is so compressed that you can’t see all the nuances in the flowers but you get the gist of it!

This week’s reel is about (not) being an adult and reading lots of genres!

On the blog this week (click on the graphic to read the post)

I did a global review for a series that should be better known! I had read The Afterlife saga from Stephanie Hudson years ago (she is an indie author) so when I saw that she had written a YA series in the same universe I jumped on it!

And after reading so many fantasy books, I went back to romance and read King of Wrath by Ana Huang to see what all the fuss was about!

That’s it! Thanks for reading!

Sophie

  1. Your commission turned out lovely. I love the colors and the cherry blossoms! 😀 I’m glad you got some snow too. I hope it doesn’t hinder driving in any way.

  2. Ohhh that edge is gorgeous

Yep. Crazy weather here too! Nice positive weather to -20C, high winds & a good load of snow i hate it. Unfortunately for me, canada is used to it.. no stopping!

  3. Yay for snow even if it did cause a bit of traffic messes! Your edges look beautiful, Sophie! Good luck with your preparations for your new job!

  4. That’s a whole lot of snow! I’m sure it was pretty, despite the delays it caused. How exciting to receive a commission! Congrats on that, Sophie! And the result is stunning!
