Hi friends,

Top 5 Tuesday is back! Long hosted by Shanah @bionicbookworm (she was the creator), she has now new challenges awaiting her and Meeghan from@meeghanreads has become our new mastermind!!!

This week’s topic: orange and black cover as in Autumn vibes!

If finding covers with black was easy I wanted some with both colors on it and …it was not smooth sailing as I wanted books that I had read and loved! But I (mostly) did it!

And you’ll even have some quotes because, why not?

Everless by Sarah Holland

“I know better than to be afraid of stories”
― Sara Holland, Everless

The Bird and the Sword by Amy Harmon

“You glow, Lark.” His hand climbed back up again and swept over my unbound hair. I swallowed, suddenly close to tears. Then why does no one see me? “I see you,” he said.”
― Amy Harmon, The Bird and the Sword

The City of Brass by SA Chakraborty

“You’re some kind of thief, then?”
“That a very narrow-minded way of looking at it. I prefer to think of myself as a merchant of delicate tasks.”
― S.A. Chakraborty, The City of Brass

The Poppy War by RF Kuang

.

“War doesn’t determine who’s right. War determines who remains.”
― R.F. Kuang, The Poppy War

Stolen by Lucy Christopher

“I can’t save you like that Ty.
What you did to me wasn’t this brilliant thing, like you think it was. You took me away from everything – my parents, my friends, my life. You took me to the sand and the heat, the dirt and isolation. And you expected me to love you. And that’s the hardest bit. Because I did, or at least, I loved something out there.
But I hated you too. I can’t forget that.”
― Lucy Christopher, Stolen: A Letter to My Captor

Have you read any of these?

Thanks for reading!

  1. I’ve read Everless and I didn’t enjoy it as much as I hoped. I loved City of Brass, and A Bird and A Sword! They’re wonderful reads! I really need to pick up The Poppy War! So far, I’ve heard nothing but great things about that book.

  2. Now that you mention it … yes. Yes. There are a TON of orange/black covers out there! Great choices!
